Welcome to The Lake House at Lough Inchin
Inchin Lake House - is a bed and breakfast with 3 ensuite rooms, We also have a self-catering cottage called The Nest which sleeps 4 adults and we also rent the entire house on a weekly basis for families or groups. The house sleeps 10 adults.
We have been open since mid-2017 and occupy a wonderful location overlooking Lough Inchin, 4km from Cavan town. It is a peaceful and friendly retreat surrounded by water, woodland, and wildlife - a region of rare beauty. Our house dog Larry is friendly and loving.

On your doorstep you can enjoy safe walks, a good cycle { bikes available } Farnham Estate Spa & Golf Resort, Cavan Golf Club, Cavan Equestrian Centre, Killykeen Forest Park, Cavan County Museum Ballyjamesduff and Cavan Adventure Center where you can hire canoes…… check it out for fab family fun. There are also a selection of top class restaurants and bars.
We have 3 ensuite bedrooms { 2 doubles & a twin } and a loft room if you need extra space. Should you wish to bring your little one we have a toddler bed, lots of books and toys.
THE NEST is our self-catering cottage and sleeps 4 adults. 1 double bedroom - wet room. Open plan kitchen, dining and living room with a pull-out king-sized bed. You have your own entrance,secure parking, garden and use of the BBQ on sunny days. We can add an extra single bed or travel cot. Please contact me for details. Photos in the gallery.
Our garden provides a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the view and bird song. You are welcome to use our yoga mats. On cooler days you can avail of our TV room or catch up with a good book by the fire.
Your hosts Ray & Mary offer a hearty breakfast with a selection of homemade delights. We cater for guests culinary preferences like gluten free or lactose intolerant. Please inform us if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions in advance.
Taxi service we use is excellent but if we are free we can drop you locally.
